Seeing Red

Red as a colour is lost to the human eye beneath the surface of the water, but with a flash of light from my camera this "Crescent Tail Glasseye" is transformed to a brilliant red. Too get up close and personal you must first win the confidence of these fish by slowly interacting until they know you. This one was special, one of several hundred in a school, in the far northern waters of the Great Barrier Reef.
